What a night I had late last night. Fished from 10:00 pm to 3:00 A.M. The weather was perfect for this time of year here in Northern Texas in the upper 50’s. It was a very slow bite for the first couple of hours. The challenge was set but I just kept working it. My setup was a 7’-3” Favorite Slick Stick. The bait of choice was a 4.5” Strike King Rage Bug. Rigged it with a size 4 thick gauged off set hook with a sliding weight. Fished parallel with the shoreline. Caught many dinks but I wasn’t fishing for dinks, I was fishing for monsters. Work hard and reek the benefits.
