So my ol lady was gonna throw away this old blanket rack/holder few weeks ago,,, and right away in my mind i visualized something I could most definitely make it so useful for… so I told her heck no we are not throwing that away, I got a good idea for that thing!!! Well it’s only half way done, as I still have rods I can add on the backside. But you get the idea… I think it’s pretty cool.. lol

Great idea Goose. I can't see to well what is holding them on the top board? I am guessing a something like a J hook.

Nice salvage there. Why throw out a perfectly serviceable item.

I’m a big believer in recycling. You are doing great. Why throw something away if we can use it for something

As they say, one man's junk is another mans treasure.
A little imagination can be more than a little rewarding.
It never ceases to amaze me how much reusable "junk" can be salvaged.
Days of old would allow one to wander a bit through the land fill. Perfectly good bicycles thrown away because the seat is ripped.
Might be a generational thing. Those of us who grew up especially in the 50's have a tendency to "make do" a little more so than our own children. Probably because what we earned didn't leave a lot left over at the end of the month.
