I was up at Browns Lake this week end. Plenty of people still out fishing. However, I didn’t get on the ice.
First time I ever saw anyone drive a rig out on the ice up there. It was a small SUV but still I was surprised.
Anyhow, It looked like they were doing OK, the mild weather helped. Everyone stayed out from early morning to mid afternoon.

Never been there. I’ll have to look into it.
To be honest I’ve never caught a Grayling. Never too late, well unless your dead I suppose.

I may have my direction a little messed up but at the south? end of Brown’s is where the trail to Lake Agnes starts. It’s only a little over a mile and a pretty easy walk. Enjoy….

Wulffy there’s a Browns lake up the Blackfoot river country near Ovando. Think you may thinking the one out of Dillon?

May 1, the ice is off. According to the guy at the boat check station at the Clearwater Junction, there was a freeze off and killed a lot of the larger fish. Heading there soon to check it out. 😀
