Good morning Trosa. Not much right now. You may catch a mullet, drum or trout. Fresh shrimp is the key. Check with the local bait shops. Make sure if you are fishing anywhere except the pier you have a license. Have a good day. Post pics of your catch. We love pics.

Not sure. Rules change every year. Try Johnny Mercer Pier. They have a free book that has all the info for this year. Also you can look it up online. I am on the other end at Topsail.Rules are the same but I haven’t researched it yet. A few more weeks the mullets will run. After that the spots. If you can fish the ICW or creeks you can find the flounder sheep head and drums. FRESH shrimp should be your bait.
Google NC saltwater regulations 2023 your answers are there. Crazy but you have to play by the rules. The fines are not pretty. They can take your boat and your gear.
