Has anyone of you readers used the "Tasmanian Devil Fishing Lure" for trout trolling. If so would you give it a thumbs up or down? If so, what is your choice of size and color? What have you caught with it besides trout? Any first hand info on the lure would be appreciated. I noted on youtube that most everyone was using the midsize lure. Thanks for your input.

I think I would try it Bapa, Lord knows I've tried just about everything else, sound's like it works similarly to a Buzz Bomb , 👍

I’ve used them many times trolling for trout in quite a few lakes here in California. I have several different pattens. My favorite is the chartreuse pattern, in 1/4 ounce. My best success has been using them 4ft behind Seps pro dodgers utilizing my downriggers. I’ve also caught trout top lining them when the trout have moved up once the lake has turned over. One thing that I do though is change the treble hook out to a Gamagashu Siwash single hook. I learned about them several years ago while on a trip to Eagle lake, they were the hot lure on the lake at that time and put fish in the boat! I believe that they were originally designed in Australia for fishing for large brown trout. One thing to keep in mind, due to its design where your leader line is fed though the lure body trolling speed is very important too fast and the lure action will be to erratic. Hope this helps.

Yep, we use them at 11 Mile (Colorado). Troll them about 2.5-3 mile a hour.
