Welcome aboard Pammie. I can only help you with catfish. That's all I fish for up there. You can catch them in both lakes. Fishing off the bank or dock at Santee State Park is a good place to do so. Night is better but day time is very profitable also. Are you fishing out of a boat??

Great name. I like your husband already. What are you going to be fishing for. And are you staying on lake Moultrie?

We aren't after anything in particular, pan fish and largemouths. you said you fish for cats. I would enjoy catching a big one but I don't want to touch one. Sorry its a girl thing. i haven't checked the water temps in marion yet. the bass should be bedding soon. I think we are going to stay around santee. I like senko worms and minnows. It is a little on cats, right or wrong? My nephew makes his own stink bait, to each his own. ps. we live over the border in nc.

There are plenty of bass fishermen up there to help you out. Hope they don't have lock jaw. My wife won't touch them either until they're cleaned. Here are a few that I caught up there. Hope you and Gordon have a good time and catch some fish.

Should be great. A good friend and I limited out on specs about 3 weeks ago in Moultrie (farm pond out on Funston Hwy). We went to Lake Talquin in Fla, last Saturday and nobody caught over two all day.

That is a 63lb Alaskan King Salmon that I caught in the famous Kenai River. About an hour later I hooked up with what was a 45lb "hen". Best day on the water of my life.

Just looked back at some of your other post and seen the avatar picture and one with some halibut. Nice trip you had.
