Stumbled upon an old lure....

Caught the freighter last week while fishing for snapper someplace warmer. Bi catch on a2 oz jig.
Is that a thresher shark? Looks pretty big and I'll bet you got a good run for the money reeling that one to the boat!
I just had this ad pop up on my screen...funny how closely it resembles a lure that I uploaded a photo of in this original post. "Big Internet Brother" is definitely paying attention to what we do and say.
In that case...I propose the following on a global scale: As citizens, we only allow competent people to be in charge of important roles in Society, and that we all agree to World Peace. A chicken in every pot, solid infrastructure, thoughtful wildlife management and plenty of time to go fishing!
Those AI (artificial intelligence) bots are getting pretty smart!
Take a peek at the lure pictured at the start of this thread...and compare it to this ad! Not a bad match!

I caught a lot of trout with a daredevil spinner in red and white. That was my go to spinner as a kid. I didn't have that particular one though.
I'm so glad to hear this. When I was a kid my dad and I used that daredevil spinner. It was great for Northern Pike. I haven't been able to find that lure since I was a kid.
No, threshers have the very extended tail upwards. Know all the sharks it was not but not sure what it was. About 280/300# hooked 80 feet deep on a snapper rod, 2 oz jig with a shrimp. Wrong fish on the wrong rod. Was close to just breaking it off after about an hour when it gave up before I did.
