JH.... that Peacock is beautiful. I hear they are fun to catch. Regarding the other half of your adventure, that sounds about as much fun as getting a certain appendage stuck in a meat grinder!

Swimming with sharks huh? I’m not sure I want to swim with a critter that thinks I taste as good as it does to me!

I've wanted to fish for peacock bass ever since I read about them many years ago. I have a friend who recently passed that went to South America several times and caught some monsters. Last week, on my 65th birthday I went on a guided trip out of FT. Lauderdale to Lake Ida. I crushed them. 20 peacock, four largemouth, a catfish and a needle fish in 3.5 hours. Peacock bass are incredibly hard fighters and on light tackle were an absolute blast. Biggest was maybe 4lbs. but every ounce tried to stay away from the boat. The day before, went swimming with sharks out of Jupiter. Two amazing days on the water.

Regarding my bucket list. I can genuinely say I've completed my list with one exception. Before I die I want to see the Northern Lights. Not a picture of a movie, but to lay on my back and view them. Other than that I've accomplished everything I've set out to do, and several that I didn't plan on, but were worthwhile.
