Good morning all, what a great day to start March. I’m heading down to Bennett Spring this weekend for some trout fishing. The weather looks a little rough for Friday but the rest looks pretty good. Well, it’s Friday morning, we’re still planning on making the trip but there was a lot of rain overnight there and the water is up several feet, hopefully it goes down enough for tomorrow and the trout are stocked. I’ll keep you posted

Be careful! Water level is at flood stage. Nobody fishing off of the dam or below because of the high water-flow. You might have to go below the hatchery if you want to get in the water. I'm headed to Roaring River next week. Weather forecast to be cold and rainy again most of next week. Don't care -- it's trout season!
