Hey guys and Bands in particular.
Stopped at Walmart to buy those red worms you've been talking about but couldn't find any. People that "work" there are not helpful. Ended up buying Ned Rig jigheads and Z Man Finesse TRD [kinda brownish red worm type] Waste of money? Also got Gulp 2.5in Minnow, Emerald Shiner. Shiners look really good!!
What are you fishing for, ? What's running?

For right now, I'm going to Crystal Lake in West Orange. They have trout, catfish and not sure what else.
Stripers in the back bays today's opening day and they're killing them

The fish stopped biting on Walmart red worms šŖ± a long time ago. After I use up my fifth and final container of worms, Iām going to use 1/32 oz twister tail leadhead jigs on 2 lb test line until the water warms up. Only caught 6 white perch on worms today but landed 14 fish on a jig. Best fishing now is for back bay striped bass.

I was helping my grandson set up a worm farm to raise his own bait. went to Walmart for those same red worms but nope that is not what they had so did some looking on line and actually found tests done comparing the fish catching success with the different types of worms and the European night crawler came out ahead every test, so I ordered some online and hopefully we will give them a good test this spring
The worm ( dung ) also makes great fertilizer
