Since it is Friday and also Lent for those of you who give up sweets til Easter, remember these??
I remember them all except the first one. Mary Jane was the other bit-o-honey style/tasting candy. Almost same flavor. Bit-o-honey still available at Cabelas and Vance Outdoor. Individually wrapped and bagged though. Buy them every time I go there.

I never liked them as a kid. Just love them now. Bit-O-Honey is good candy still. Just melt ‘em in your mouth til the nuts pop thru. Bit-O-Honey goes a long long way….
Bit-O-Honey was my favorite. My grandparents always had some at their house. I don’t see it too often nowadays, but I still buy Necco wafers pretty often. As a Catholic family, my siblings and I would use them to play communion.

Do you remember a candy that was round about size of a quarter. Had a red cinnamon flavored shell and white insides. Called red buttons. My great grandma used to carry them in her sweater pocket. That’s been @ 68 yrs ago.
