Dogfish on topsail piers.
Just wondering if the dogfish have showed up alone topsail beach piers yet?
I caught some off the end of Jeannette's Pier the week before last, and so did others. I don't know about the Topsail area, but it seems like this is the time to go for them.
Nice, if I’m correct that pier is north of topsail, if they’re there then they should be here. Thanks for the info.
They were being caught on pieces of squid or of fish, like sardines.
Cut fish drew more bites, but the squid stayed on the hook better and got stripped off less. Some skate were also being caught that way.
If the skates are big enough they eat good too.
