Those are a lot bigger than I anticipate catching and have a feeling they wouldn’t be that good a table fare, but great photos. Thanks for sharing 👍👍😁😁

I have been told that’s a good place to try after the plants are made in March and April. I’ve also been told at night is the best time to fish for Cats. But I thought most of the Metro Parks were closed after dark !! But I will definitely give that area a try. I’m easy to spot. Usually wearing an 82nd Airborne hat !! Thanks for the input !!

At night they are not worried about Predation. Not aware of us humans as predators. They are more nocturnal like cats are.

Metro parks close at 9 pm. If you get there with time to get all set up before dark you can have a beautiful evening fish.
