Well, seems that I usually get asked on the bay or pin the ocean, like GPS numbers, how deep, bait orhardware,,I always tell it like it is because if I'm catches um I want the other guy to have some fun too,,usually its halibut or salmon,,,we are lucky with enough to go around, I figure I might be the guy asking next time,,,and I believe in karma,,,,lets get um!!!!!!!

Yeah, definitely,,,best mooch light tackle bite I ever got into was about 20 years ago I had a buddy and 3 teens on the boat, all day on ocean out of tomales and skunk on salmon, came in about 5 pm and a boat with two young guys and girlfriends pull in start unloading slugs,,we couldn't believe it,,they told us exactly where to go and water depth, said bait heavy,,we went back out and slammed limits to 37 lbs on light tackle son got his pb on a bass outfit with 12 lb line,,that info made our trip and we still talk about those guys that hooked us up,,,you never know how you might impact someone when you pass it forward,,karma is a good thing !!! Tight lines my brother!!

I share everything rig, bait, lake, and where sometimes if a lot of people go there, but if I have a honey hole spot where few or no one goes I am keeping that spot quite. I am not going to bait your hook and clean your fish for you.

H G, It's kinda like Catch & Release, differing opinions. I'm with you on this issue, but we've got diversity here. Different Strokes. . .

Hey, man. Just my view.
I'm a senior who learned some decades ago we are on this planet to influence others, in whatever small or large ways.
Second Rule: Pass it down.
I hope this Oceanside stager may want to do some shore fishing with me. I'll sit there and watch him catch them all (it really is that easy for a month and a half on Dixon). Yup. Puts a smile on my face. To each his own I understand.

I agree. Every day is a Blessing from God. And it represents another opportunity to do good and speak good. May God give us the courage and strength to practice what we preach

I agree with old Bill.

I fully support to each his own; but, for me I must disagree with Bill.
As a shoreline walking bass fisherman, I often walk the trails and notice some fisher folks who are a bit behind the curve. I invite them to my tackle box and help them tie on what I recommend they need. Then I recommend where to cast.
I have taken abuse from my fishing partner for decades re: providing excessive detail to what some see as competitors. I know them as brethren and best yet little kids.
If I see a "newbie" succeed, it's just as good as me hookin' 'em.
Puts a smile on my face.

You're good. Keep passing it on. Some of us haven't learned that is one of the ways we get our Blessings. Keep on keeping on.
