Well, the last 3 trips between me and my fishin buddies NO ONE has even gotten a bite on either river. Water is 48*.
That was for the month of January.

Some kids fishing with their grandpa on the Petaluma have been catching some stripers on ghost shrimp, another fellow caught a great sturgeon in the lower river this week. Bait seems to be the only way to catch them just now.

We even tried bait fishin last Sat for bout an hour or so and still never even got a bite.
It'll start pickin up here pretty soon. HOPEFULLY.
