I’m not a veteran of ice fishing, but have been out three times this year in three local reservoirs. Each time I’ve been out, I learn a few more tricks of the trade. Locating fish or at least learning where to find them is utmost important. Then speculating what species and what type of bait or lure to use.
If there is no action, one has to keep moving and if you have a sonar, it’ll help the chances of catching fish.

How do you keep your worms alive between fishing trips?
