It was too nice to stay in today, so hit the Schuylkill between Reading and Gibraltar looking for musky...no luck!
I'd like to hear from others in my area seeking muskies!
Thanks, Mike

Welcome aboard Mike. Got a lot of members from PA. Should get some good help soon.
I’m not in your area but I’ve been out in my area two or three times and no sightings ether.

The Delaware River up around Easton, Pa has some pretty good Muskie fishing.
Thanks for the tip! I’m looking for something closer to home.
Mike
Hi Virago, I have not fished the Schuylkill River, so I have no info to offer.
I will be fishing Blue Marsh Lake this year; it is not far from your location of Reading. Have you fished there and if so, how did you do? Any info you can provide would be much appreciated.

Hey Mike, Opie from Douglassville. Welcome to the stage. Not much of a River guy only because I haven’t had the time. Scott Run had a redo and the state dropped pickerel in there and I witnessed quite a few good sized ones being caught. Also Blue Marsh is sure to have musky in there also. Keep everyone posted. Try closer to D’ville and Pottstown the water is a little deeper.
Hi Mike I live in Riverview Park just below rte 222.I fish the Schuykill from Berne(at Hamburg) down to below Felix Dam. I’ve not been out yet this year the water has been high. Last year I talked to several fisherman that were catching Muskies from Jim Dietrich’s Park down to the Fish Commissions Launch above Rte 222. They told me in the 30” range. I caught two small Pickerel at Jim Dietrich park last year. And some nice smallies.
Hope this helps.
Really never fished Blue Marsh, and only tried the spillway once with no luck! Hope you do well!
Thanks! I’ve been wanted to try that area!
Managed a small Pike in Hopewell last year bu that about it. Saw a video of a guy catching two small pickerel from Scott’s Run. I need to try to find deeper river water in the area around Pottstown. Thanks!
Upper Susquehanna River in Pa. Looking at trying some lakes in the Western part of the state until this cold hit.

I'm not a muskie fisherman but I do catch them quite frequently a good spot is where the maiden Creek enters the Schuylkill
