Hey I lived in Kennewick Wash in 66 thru 68 and fished at one of the potholes somewhere around Moses lake I think that my wife’s cousin showed us, he called it eagle lake. It was totally undeveloped. And not many people there. And we caught a lot of big crappie at the far end of the lake where a fast stream of water was coming down from a hill side. We were using what was called a white go getter jig that was silver with white feathers. And all fish were 1lb and larger.

I think it's pretty well frozen over, but not as positive about "safe" ice. I'd call MarDon resort store and get an update before I headed out if I were you
