Looking for a lake in N. Calif where I can fish from the shore as I'm disabled and it's very difficult for me to get in a boat.

Hey buddy. Take a look at todays post By Ranger632 titled “Trout Today” he posted some nice pics about his recent trip shore fishing. Shoreline looks comfortable. Don’t know what access was like. I believe that is lake McClure, could be wrong. Maybe u could reach out to him for more info. Plus…he caught some nice trout!!!

Baum lake in Eastern Shasta County has a nice, accessible fishing pier and some nice trout. Also Kangaroo lake in Siskiyou County. It's at 6200' and snowed in right now, but great trout and the best fishing spot on the lake is wheelchair friendly. Both are a bit isolated but good fishing is worth a long drive

Excellent advice. Fished Baum lake several times last year. Great shore access. Caught a lot of nice trout. Handicap pier is very accessible.

Fished Baum lake several times last year . Rented an Airbnb home less then a mile from the lake. Caught a lot of nice trout. The handicap pier has great access and is a very productive spot to fish. Yes it’s a long drive, but worth it. I would wait until late spring before fishing it.
