There is really a 'knee-jerk' reaction about sharks. As an example, I wrote a fictional story about taking a troop of boy scouts wade fishing at night in the gulf near Galveston. In the story, I had each boy tied to the next boy with a rope so we would not lose anyone to sharks.

Wow did the warning lights start flashing! I thought I had planted enough hints and signals this was all fiction, but maybe not. Just Sayin...RJS

When it wasn't given the rest of the fish, it went and started hitting and chewing on the out drive on the boat and my friends companions told him to give that Dam fish to the Great white.
