Yes, I can imagine! Once we had arrival of a new Senior Manager. To welcome him, we had a 'blast' at a private club in downtown Houston.

Since some of the members knew they had a fine collection of super cigars, I took one. After dinner of a super steak and such, most of us at our table ordered a brandy. I, like several others, dipped our cigars in the bandy and lit up.

Well, it had been a long time since I had smoked a cigar, so that plus the brandy made me quite dizzy. In fact, I was barely able to make it back to my car. So, since then I do not smoke any cigars, although in my younger years, I loved cuban fine cigars. Just Sayin...RJS

He would'a liked a reference to Jack Daniels.

Yes, when I used to have a snort, I preferred a gin and tonic, and referred to it as my White Wine! I seldom drink anything now unless it is a small beer with Mexican food. Just Sayin...RJS

At the rare times it's offered to me, my reply is, "No thanks, I have to be home by Christmas."

I always know it’s going to be a fun night when I’m sitting around playing music with a bunch of people and someone breaks out a bottle, cracks it open and sits it in the middle of the circle, and chucks the cap. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Betts... I don't drink liquor anymore, but that's a good sign that fun for all will soon follow. Bottoms up !

Heard this many years ago: If it wasn't for whiskey the Irish would rule the world.

I am 100% of Irish extraction. Ballyglass, County Galway. No zingers intended!

I'm allergic to whiskey. Every time I drank it I would break out in hand cuffs.
