** Willing outdoor enthusiast to Bass Fish the downtown Wetumpka, AL area of the Coosa River, Lake Jordan South. Could possibly fish all the way south to where the Coosa and Tallapoosa meet at Ft. Toulouse. Probably prefer to fish the grass and islands in the shallows N of the Bridge.

Fri Jan 20 expected weather: Hi's 60, Lo's 45-50. Winds 3-6mph. Overcast day between We-Th and Sa-Su rains.

Launch from Downtown Wetumpka, AL, Crommelin Landing (see Google Maps). Launch time anytime after Sunrise.

17' Coleman canoe, 2 paddles, bring your own life-jacket. Lots of room in the boat for picnic supplies.
I bring two small tackle boxes and 3 rods. I got extra rods and extra artificial baits.

Plenty of nearby amenities, restaurants, shops, bathrooms.

Heck, if you're traveling from out-of-town or out-of-state, welp, I'm thinkin' about making this Home of mine in Clanton a Hostel for Bass Fisherman across the country that like canoe fishing as much as big boat fishing.

Place to stay, Extra vehicles, quality amenities, and some of the best BASS FISHING in the world, all within 15 min to 2 - 3 hours drive.

Clanton, AL, center of the State of AL, I-65 and Hwy22.

All within 2 hrs: Henry Neely, Logan Martin, Lay Lake, Lake Jordan, Cahaba River, Tallapoosa River, Lake Guntersville, Lake Martin, West Point Lake, Lake Wedowee, Warrior River ... that's just some of 'em.

Door open! Leave a note.

I don’t know if I can get there very often, but I will save this invitation. And the same applies if you ever make it to New England. 😊

Thank you, Chief Please, tell me something about your NH coast fishing. I spent one week around Bangor, ME with some family members. We canoed a nearby Loon Lake, we visited Bar Harbor, talked to a few lobstermen, ate some great food. Watched a pair of moose observe me n the lady though the bedroom full-walled window-glass.

Family taught me how to live with the Fall black flies. That was a great visit. We didn't do any fishing on the trip.

Please, clue me in about your ocean, lake, and stream fishing nearby NH vacinity.

I will remain in touch, Chief. Look forward to a day to meetup and tour NH.

Cheers!

Thank you, Chief Please, tell me something about... (show quote)

I do mostly salt water for striped bass and cod and haddock depending on weather. Jig mackerel for bait and smoking. There is a pond a couple of miles away that has bass and panfish. There are several Stagers here that fish freshwater.
