Anyone here fish Western KY? Specifically around the Hopkins, Webster,Davies, Muhlenburg, Christian. Lake Malone,Lake Beahear? Just curious if bass have returned from the shock of the drastic temperature two weeks ago. Also anyone know the water temps. Guessing lower to mid 40's

I Fish Lake Beshear often as I live on the Lake. Water was 48 degrees yesterday and very muddy. About 6" to 1' visibility. Some good fish have been caught but it is a very slow bite.

Welcome to the Stage. I live in Hopkins county. Back in the 80s Providence New City lake produce good size bass early in the year when you've had a few warm days in a row. It is a smaller lake and warms up a little quicker. I haven't been there in years but good luck if you go.

Not sure 70's can't get ina boat now. Lake Malone is a great place to fish for Bass lower water, top water baits like the Rapala Broken back minnow. Small size.
