Good morning, David, and welcome to the Forum. Congratulations on your retirement and good luck on the water.
Just be ready, if you want to hear Gid laugh, tell him your plans. ππ

Welcome aboard David, congrats on retiring, good luck and tight lines fishing π£
Welcome David, I hope you will enjoy your retirement as much as I am. Don't have to get up early, just keep the wife happy, and do all the fishing I can. You'll find a lot of great people here on the forum. Be safe, keep your line tight and God bless.

David: You are right next to a terrific fishing lake. When I live in Houston, I was never skunked by my fishing guide in Lake Sabine. You have a great fishing 'pond' right next to you for trout and reds. Also, down where the Sabine runs into the Gulf is also a great place for bull reds. They are really too big for eating but are a lot of fun to catch and release. I would give you the name of my guide, but he has retired and no longer guides. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the Stage David. Congratulations on your retirement and all the fishing youβre going to do. Please take pictures and post them here on the Stage. We like pictures of the catches.

Welcome David! So is it Bridge City or Vidor...or maybe Orangefield?
I've yet to get down to the good salt near you. I've kept in the fresh around the bayous, creeks and lakes so far a little upcountry.
