I read where the license now runs for one year from date you buy it so if I’m not going fishing til say March should wait and buy in March so will have a full year and will be good into 2024 is this correct something new on California

yes. New CA law. License is good for one year from the date of purchase. So if u decide to purchase in March of 2023 it will be good til March of 2024

Hey Steve. You're right. I usually never go out on Sunday. But it's been rainin and bad weather for so long and it's suppose to be pretty Sunday.
We've suspended goin to church for awhile due to Covid and the weather. Plus we were tryin to get moved to Tahoe.

Steve.... you know I love to tease! If fishing on Sunday is a sin well, I'm in big trouble!

I live in Arkansas. My hunting and fishing license ($37.50) is good for the rest of my life. Life is good!

You know they changed this year to being good for a year! So you can go fishing in December and not have to throw it away in January

HBM..... That GW was sure in a good mood that day, & you got lucky. They've got bigger " fish to fry " anyhow. Good timing on your part. BTW, did your luck hold that day and result in some great catching ?

If he was at the boat ramp the Game Warden probably didn't catch him fishing. Also showing respect for others and not being a jerk usually pays off.

Ohio’s run 365 days from date of purchase so I’m still good till June. Think I’m going to get a 10 year or lifetime license this year then I won’t have to worry about it for a while or ever again!

A good investment in my opinion. Lifetime. Oregon is based on Calendar year. With all fishing and Hunting tags etc its about 220 with duel rod endorsements.

My senior life time was $7.00 for fish and hunting in SC. Bought mine little over 7 yrs ago when I moved here. When wallet was stolen they replaced license free. It’s a great feeling when being senior and get a break on prices. It all helps. 🌴😎🌴
