Good Deal! We have auto renewal but couldn't get it set up and I wanted my license now. They are having online issues with website... Hopefully CA will get that fixed! Glad you didn't have any issues and Happy New Year!

What Cali needs to fix is a 65 year old Cal Vet that has to pay the full cost of a license. We hand over billions of dollars on welfare programs but no break for me? I hate the politics in this State. Make me King for a day and a lot of folks would find Cali not such a desirable location to live.

Ours runs from August 31st to August 31 and is only $22 for all water fishing and $26 for hunting and all water fishing super combo for 65 and older which allows us to fish in Louisiana on Texas license 😀

Could you please send your Texas government our way? Texas is awesome!

Brother Steve.... is that a typo? Sunday? I never thought I'd see the day! Lol. Be careful my man! The rivers are swollen and full of debris. Water visibility will be one inch at best. And all those fallen trees and branches that have been high and dry during the drought are now finding their way into the river. I know you don't like to baitfish but usually the way to go in these conditions. Good luck buddy!

Hey Steve. You're right. I usually never go out on Sunday. But it's been rainin and bad weather for so long and it's suppose to be pretty Sunday.
We've suspended goin to church for awhile due to Covid and the weather. Plus we were tryin to get moved to Tahoe.

I'll get in touch with you after I get back from Tahoe. We're gonna have to go up there as soon as the weather is goin to be pretty foe several days.
If it's pretty for just 1 or 2 days we still can't go up there BUT we can go fishin.

Hey Steve,
While you’re out of church (like we are), check out my sermon videos on the weekly “Devotional” thread. Some really decent preaching and most are under an hour… 👍

My son and I are heading up to Tahoe Monday morning, coming back Tuesday evening. Looks like we should have a window with no snow for those days, but plans can change if weather changes.

Licenses in Ca. Are good for 12 months, no matter when you get it.

I drove down the 101 and 37 heading to see family yesterday. Both the Petaluma and Napa River were really high. Since King Tides were last week, I was very surprised to see the water that high!!!

Mine has a big P in it. I'm 81 and in Georgia (go dogs) a senior fisher person never has to renew. It's in my wallet with my original draft card issued in 1958 and my original social insecurity card issued in 1956.
