Well Grizzly 17.... the title is "bobber stops", he describes it as "won't go through the rod tip"(which is pointing out a shortfall that he knows is an aspect of a bobber stop).
I agree that the product he's after is DESIGNED to be a Carolina rig component, BUT....he apparently IS using it as a bobber stop.
So, I guess until he asks about weights and Carolina rigs.....unlike you, I'll just be responding to the question asked.....rather than try to offer a totally different product, a different use and a different technique, thank you very much.
Thank you, everyone. Gosh if you know the name you can find them all over. Will pick up some after the ice storm is done with us. Since I fish for steelhead I use a smaller stop above my sliding float so it will go through the eyelets. This will be perfect below the float so I don't lose everything when I get the weight hung up.
By the way, I starting using this handle when I lived in North Carolina. Kept it while I lived in Texas and now here. At my age it can be hard to learn new call signs, much less passwords. LOL

Thanks for turning this post into one in which I won't be returning. You are highly skilled at taking an interesting post on a nosedive down to your level. And no, that is not a compliment.

Come in red or clear colores. I use on treble hooks for power bait to vary the leader length. Sliding sinker, bead, Carolina keeper and then tye your hook. Adjust length as needed. Good luck. Frank
