But here is a pic of the best fish ever caught on my boat. My daughter holding her first trout! 25 years ago, how quick they grow up. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Winner!

Any fish I have never gotten a photo of, for me, is a major trophy. This year I hit a double on the same day. Lake white fish and burbot. I cant find the bubot photo. I will post later.

Yep. I guess I should post more. I am just not good at remembering to take photos unless the catch is something special, or a new species for me. When I do take photos, it is usually for someone else. I love to expose people to new fishing adventures, even though I am no longer getting paid for it.

I enjoy getting others hooked too. Hookin isn't a bad lifestyle.

What is everyone’s biggest fish of the year? Mine were largemouth bass a 5-4 and a 5-2 on the same fishing trip. And almost nothing the rest of the year! Bobby

Lot's of great fish and stories. For me I would have to include 2 fish...a particular northern pike and a hefty smallmouth bass. The sizes were not as important so much as the surprise and fun of catching both fish while trolling from a kayak. Both photos were previously posted and "mini stories" earlier this past year.

This thread was a good idea. Some nice looking fish caught and I’m sure it brought back good memories.
