Hey, I’m a Colorado native looking for new places to icefish in northern Colorado.
Where have you tried so far?
In NOCO I’ve tried Boyd lake but I’ve gone to evergreen and other places more south. I’d like to not have to drive 2-1/2 hours each way. I might try chambers the first week of January.
There are a lot of lakes close to and around Boyd .Boulder Res ,Carter, Chatfeild, Cherry Creek, Lon Hagler, Loveland Lake.
A lot of others get a good map that shows them all. I fish most all the smaller ponds around town and city limits.I have even fished The park next to Lakeside park.

Try downloading The Fishing Atlas from Colorado Parks & Recreation. It may give you some new places

Chatfield is hitting good for walleye, look for 10’ of water that drops off to deeper water. West side by swim beach east side just north of ramps were good.
