I went to Bayou Ami scouting for decent water. We found some in the bayous that go off along the farmland late in the afternoon on Wednesday. It rained that night and everything was muddy when we went Thursday. Stopped and talked to some commercial fishermen and due to low water and weather, they are not catching enough catfish to sell to pay for fuel.
Anyone fishing the basin===have been sick and unable to go
I’m hoping recent rains have eliminated that low water level problem. Going fishing in that area is on My Bucket List!!
