Here on the Gulf Coast, we call that a Redfish. You can use live or frozen shrimp, silver or a gold spoon, plastic and soft artificial lures. Depending on the season you can use a variety of baits.

I believe that is a hot fish. Definitely a female of the species. They are quite common in California, but rarely seen out on the lake. Be careful, your limit is one only, any more and you can go to jail. Be careful with this species, some have been known to drain a man's bank account and drive men to insanity or worse. If this one enjoys fishing, then she is a keeper and you'd better bag and tag that one before it gets away.lol

I’m experiencing blurred vision from blood loss to my brain. I think it’s the bikini money fish though.

Range... not sure what species but, for some reason they call me sir now... and I don't like it one bit.

The fish is an English sucker. The lure to catch the fish was made by an old company called Dick Knight. It was caught on a local party boat called the Happy Hooker!

Or this... last Summer I was trying to lift my 10ft. John boat into the back of my truck. I was using the boat ramp and I missed a couple of times getting the back end of the boat up on top of the tailgate. Next thing I knew this bikini clad blonde (an outstanding representation of the finest physical attributes for her species) dove from her boat and swam up on the other side and helped me lift the boat. When I said thank you she replied, "you are welcome, sir." I went back to the cabin and drank beer long into the night.
