Hey Jeff, welcome from Colorado, user name lawman, retired LE, this is a great forum for all kinds of fishing expertise and other interesting “tidbits”😁, I recently posted an ice fishing picture and thought someone from your neck of the woods might appreciate it. I’ve always wanted to give that try in your area! Good to have you aboard, tight lines!
Nice ice catch lawman. Ice fishing is great here. Northern pike are most common come ice fishing time on the river. On Green Bay we catch really nice perch and Walleye. My Mom is from North Dakota so I have lots of family out there. We have a Family ice fishing trip we do ever year on Devils lake, unbelievable jumbo perch. I have family that live on Lake Sakakawea, awesome Walleye fishing. The Cabela's National Walleye Tournament always hits those areas every year. Last Year the championship was here in Marinette, WI, next year the championship is on Lake Sakakawea. Two years ago it was on Devils Lake ND. A good friend of mind is one of the top Walleye anglers in the US, Kory Spengler from Beaver Dam, WI. I follow him a lot. He guides on Devils Lake in the winter.
I have a really good childhood friend that lives in Loveland, Colorado, planning on visiting him soon again.
welcome,I bet that dog likes to go on fishing trips too.
Welcome tidbit. there must be some great fishing in your area. I've never been from lacrosse north but on a map it looked wet. You'll enjoy this forum as there are no liars in this bunch, except maybe Hacksaw. He's from texas & sometimes those folks see things different. Get in & get your feet wet. Catch a biggen.

She's first on the boat cb. Her name is Sugar, 6-year old Golden retriever.
Wow if you get out there this winter post some pictures! I figured you’d have some experience with that. I’m getting tired of catching and eating trout, I love em but would also love to catch some walleye, crappie, or perch. There are some here in Colorado but nothing like your talking about. What a small world, I too have a lifelong hunting, fishing buddy in Loveland. Keep us all posted, if I find a place to fish for walleye here I’ll reach out and pick your brain.
Welcome Tidbit, glad you told us the pic was of your sidekick, fixin' to comment on you bein' a hairy feller!! Hope you enjoy the info and humor! Tight lines everyone!!
