Here’s an assortment of what I’ve caught over a couple of days off Cape Canaveral beach. Things have definitely improved. What’s is everyone else catching?

I'm only catching cold... Living in Fairport N.Y. a suburb of Rochester N.Y. I should be able to comfortably fish by the end of May. If you ever need someone to help carry your equipment and VERY cool catches to and from the car all you need do is send me an Invitation. I'm happy for you and your catches but, jealous at the same time.
Keep On Catching'!

Thanks, Flytier Wish it was a Pompano. It’s a Crevalle Jack and as good tasting as the Pompano.

Thanks, Fredfish. Those days were good. I didn’t bother to include the Whiting, Spot and catfish I caught.

Thanks, Brian. Won’t be long until those bass near you will be spawning. Good luck with your upcoming season.

Thanks, Flyguy. I have my freeze dried shrimp soaked in bunker juice and ready for tomorrow morning. Hopefully my luck will continue.

What kind of shark is that? It looks like a spiny ray shark (dog fish locally) but lacks the spines.

Good question, bapa bear. I thought it was a Sandbar Shark. It’s dorsal and caudal fins were an almost see through pink in color. The dorsal appeared larger to me than a Dusky normally does.

I am of no help. I know most Pacific cold water fish and a lot of warm water fish, but sharks are out of my spier of knowledge. I can ID nurse, spiny ray, leopard and salmon.. Thresher has a look alike, so I can not include it. I can make a fair guess at some others. Any input is appreciated.
