Allan's was wonderful when it opened late 70s early 80s, glad to hear it's still operating. If you can get to Exit 52 on the GSP try it all you Jersey and Philly guys.

Used to annually go to Myrtle Beach and got hooked on Oyster Cocktails, basically a small glass filled with raw shelled oysters with sauce to dip them in, pretty well habit forming. I think that the name of the place was CAP'N NANCE'S.

About 24.00 for a pint of select oysters in Md. I buy two pints when my wife makes oyster pot pie or fried oysters.
