Recently moved to the area, looking for fishing info on Lake Livingston. No boat yet will be fishing the bank, any suggestions?

Would recommend to you first, Lake Livingston State Park where they have some pretty broad fishing banks, and points. Second, you might go further north to the public boat ramp at the end of Hwy 2457. Further north still is the bridge over the lake, the 190 bridge, but I don’t know if you can walk down to the pilings and fish for crappie, but a lot of boats do frequent that spot.
