Just my luck this fall. I hit field 6 Sunday(11/6) at sunset and the following sunrise and there was nothing. I hear there were stripers in Jamaica Bay.

I live In Manhattan, NYC..On Election Day the 8th Nov.. .No pictures but I hooked into a cow on my light-medium ugly stick ( Those rods will not break). Old style Black and Yellow. By myself in the Dark, Sun just set, and due to construction, all lights were out by the East River. My headlamp worked so I could see it. I could not lift it with a 25lb Trilene line and could not safely gaff it. So I used my rope gaff to pop the hook out. It was a #2 size hook with a small piece of surf clam
I would have released the fish after a picture but .... that's fishing. Memories.
