Have you ever had a chicken pot pie. It is like that but with oysters. And it is delicious. You want the recipe?

Post your recipe. Gotta say I don't even make chicken pot pie.

Is there more details on how to prepare it? I see the 1.5 cup milk and oyster. A pint is two cups already.

I don't know. it is my Wife's recipe. The details are on the right side of picture. If you all don't understand it, I will try to get Pat to re-write it. like I said try.

That's a first for me! Must try soon. Had eel pie in London twice and that was really good! Thanks.

I think you separate the oysters from the oyster juice. The oyster juice and milk = 1 1/2 pint. On the direction side it states to add the milk and oyster liq. After it thickens you add the rest which must be the oysters. Could be wrong though.

Eel pie is available in less places anymore but it was once quite the dish in the east end (working class neighborhood) of London.
I get all the eels I need in my backyard that is a beach on the Shrewsbury River. I cook them in the Portuguese style with onions, tomatoes are and garlic in olive oil. I have a couple of pots and use broken claims and mussels for bait. The best bait is female horseshoe crabs but they are now protected.

Has anyone ever had poached oysters?

That’s when you get them from someone else’s beach!😁

I remember the days when Delaware Bay had horseshoe crabs all over the roads going to the boat ramps, but not any more. They are also protected in Delaware and Md. What did you catch with horseshoe crabs?
