I think this quote is close to what it was from fiddler on the roof. " if being rich is a curse then so curse me" while I am content with what I have think I could also be content with a billion dollars as well, maybe not but I'm willing to give it a shot at least I could afford to fill my tank with gas

First thing to do is get a new phone.
Second you will have to move as where you live now is NOT safe for your income.
Third You do NOT need a financial advisor. Just open different accounts at different banks, not the same companies, so if one goes toes up you have NOT lost it all or 99% anyway.
IF you want a "Job", buy CDs at banks and your job is to roll them over and collect the interest.
In my case, I would give each of my kids 2 Million and tell them not to call me. LOL
I would hire a boat captain with boat to go fishing (Ocean, so I don't have to worry about buying gas, storage ect.
If the wife would let me anyway. Go visit "Down Under" and see the outback and taste test the different Brews, NOT Fosters.

Your life will definitely change. I'm not sure a new phone will help you much. Yes, you will probably have to move to an area you can secure. You will have friends, strangers and relatives at your door you never thought you had. It happened to two people who won where I lived in WI. One won $20 million, the other $278 million. Both were Powerball. Their lives changed dramatically. Not necessarily for the better. Privacy, if you live like you are a prisoner in your own home or move where no one knows you and you know no one. Yes, you and your family will be set for life financially although I would advise against multiple banks. CD interest is pretty modest but on billions, it would certainly be acceptable. A lot of decisions and headaches you've never had before. Not sure it's worth it. I could stop working however. That's a MAJOR benefit.

If I won and got the $9xx,xxx,xxx payout you can be assured I could afford someone to reliably disappear me and family!

LOL Not a bad idea, but I'd rather not have the Honey Do's by going home too soon.

So Far so Good. LOL Pact act is getting me another 20%, so I'll hit 80%, I hope. 10% Tininitus, 50% Good Old Agent Orange already. Loved helping you guys in Nam, was "Duty Killer" Fire Control Gunnery. Biggest spot back from an FO was 150 out of around 3000 rounds in 3 weeks.

In response to being forced to move, I would move anyway. I would move to a house on a lake with its own wheel chair (old age)accessible dock that had good fishing, for the future. I would also spend some time in Panama, fishing. I would also fish the great Barrier Reef. My brothers and sisters would not have to worry about money. My kids would not have to worry about money. My grand kids would also be set once they graduated with a 4 year degree from a school away from home, spent a tour in the armed forces or spent a minimum of 2 years in a peace corps type environment away from home. I admit there would be a learning curve, but that, to me, would be part of the adventure. Copious amounts of donations would be in the package. Who to, I already know, but an accountant and lawyer would be involved. 2 replacement boats would be involved. One for salt and one tied to my new lake dock. I can also see alot of private day charters in my future.

I have had five numbers, twice, three weeks apart in the old lottery (each was worth $1400). The first if I had a six instead of a seven I would have split $14M. Both were quick picks. I'm trying for five numbers again. Think I'm still ahead. Need a new Triton this year!

It is amazing how many β€œwinners” lives have been ruined after they have won the lottery. Most people have no idea how do deal with a big lottery winning. Lots of divorces, suicides, bankruptcy, etc. Some people can handle a big windfall, unfortunately, many can’t.
Real happiness is with God, not money.
