Any reports about Bass Fishing in NC. So far it does not appear to be very good for me.

I caught a 5 pounder two days ago at Jordan Lake. Was kayak fishing in some tree stumps with a slip bobber and live minnows. It was around 6pm and caught a 11 1/2"crappie and about a 20" cat as well. Let the cat go.

I’ve caught some pretty nice bass. The one thing I’ve found with the fishing here is it can be temperamental. They seem to turn on as quick as they turn off.

Nice to know there are some good size fish in that lake in case my friend invites me back to her lake house. Wondering about the crappie population in that lake....do they have many keeper size?
