All portable outboards made since the 1980s have a kill switch and lanyard included.

Here is my launch list. Night before hook up the trailer. Drop the boat from the cradle on the garage ceiling and slide into the trailer. Load tackle, rods, life vest paddle, etc . into the SUV (ok, my SUV Is a diaper hauler buts I it gets got gas mileages and is comfy.) Morning of get my coffee and water and head out. Park in the boat launch ramp, slide the boat onto its cart, install seat, install PDL , place crate with tackle in the boat and put rods i holders, Drags to the ramp and launch. Return cart to SUV and off I go .

Sounds like you did that a time or two Jim, nice check list and nice looking yak there.

Do you have a paddle too? I don't see one.

Strapped onto the dock side of the boat. Wouldn’t be without it. Never know when that prop might hit something hidden. Also helps when in heavy weeds. Lift up the prop and paddle.
