3 years ago I purchased a new truck and the old lady bought us a boat. The plan is last major purchase before retiring. Then we have a forever boat and truck. And yes a 17’ tracker

BassTrackers have a great rep, I think you’ll be mighty happy! And, since I am in a kayak, if you want to upgrade to a different boat next year, contact me and I will buy your Basstracker!

Was that comment directed at me or Moose? I live about 25 minutes from you in Strawberry Plains. If it's me, this boat will be all I ever need at 68 years old.

Nice boat. Just a reminder, take a boating safety class if it is required or not in your state. You need it for you and your passenger safety. Most insurance companies also give a discount if you take a safety course.

I know they are expensive, but a trolling motor with spot lock and auto pilot was one of the best purchases I have ever made fishing. It is almost as big of game changer as the boat itself and all for the better.

That's a good idea!!! I did before I got my boat this year. It helps keep you safe and gives you some knowledge about being on the water, what is expected for navigation and just good behavior. Plus all the safety knowledge is great!

I have a couple of straps, similar to bungee cords that can hold them but I think it would work for a paddle better. I need to get something. The storage spaces are too small.

Did Lee post his boat pic separately, I'm not seeing his boat?
