I like Seeking Tranquility. Can I squeeze that many letters on a 16 foot boat?
Thanks for the ideas. You guys are making it tough and I don't even have the boat yet.

Yes you can on either or both sides. Check out decal making places on line in the mean time to get size, writing and length ideas if you are going that root unless you are having it painted on.
Another one for you is " Fish Stalker "

Yeah...I started to wonder about that too. Sometimes a "short and sweet" name is the best as far as actually fitting in a space, but it may not convey anything about who you are when on the water. Plumb had a good idea about checking with some local print/sign shops to get an idea about text fonts and sizes that may work for your available space. The transom on my boat had no space at all, and there was a large decal on each side of the boat that said "Explorer"...so I ended up just using that as my boat name...even though it is merely the model name from the manufacturer! Not very thoughtful on my part...but it works...and actually does say something about me and how I am wired!
By the way, I don't think any of us will be offended if you choose a name that nobody came up with...after all, it's your boat! Maybe some of the ideas mentioned will be a springboard for your own creativity too! It will be a fun anticipation to hear what you ultimately decide on!

All these decisions. Over a boat? I guess.

My wife Becky likes Becknme. We will decide soon. Big decisions require time and planning, right?

Thanks OJ. No warranty on a 20 year old boat. They will run everything for me on Tuesday when I pick it up. We had that discussion already.
I was just hoping the dealer “certified” it somehow as if they checked that everything was in working order?

Yep, but you can always change it.

Okay knuckleheads, I'm picking up my new boat Tuesday afternoon at the dealership. I'm told I should name my boat.
So I'm taking suggestions as to a name. Let's try and keep the suggestions clean boys and girls. My wife's name is Becky so I thought of "Becky's Ride" but I'm taking other ideas.
Whatcha got?
I got a used bass tracker. First three times I took it to lake had problems. Friends called it the virgin boat. Best boat you could have after problems fixed. Good luck with yours. Becky’s Ride sounds good

Yes they have. We will review everything in full on Tuesday for my benefit. I've only given them $100 to put a sold sign on it. I won't take it if there's any serious concerns about it operating.
