Since I’m not on the clock anymore it doesn’t bother me quite as much. Originally if memory serves it was to save electricity during the first “energy crisis”. Being a morning person I’ve always had a huge dislike for Daylight time. Now I just live like the old farmers and ranchers, Can See to Can’t See!!

I'm still on the clock the days I work but I'm not a slave to it. On off days, I definitely don't worry about the time much. After 30 years in the newspaper biz with deadlines for everything, my routine now is a nice change. That being said, I like having sunset at 8:45 or 9 pm to get things done outside after work.

I think it needs to go! being mostly a farming thing to give men the extra hour of daylight to tend to their crops and war time thing..What do you think?

I have long wanted it to go. Farmers don't really care what the clock says, they work from light to dark most days.

That's right Arizona and Hawaii don't have it. Lived in AZ for 21 years never missed it always on time because the time didn't change or miss any sleep

I agree keep it at DST.

The stupid politicians could finally do something the people want.

Demacrooks and Republicrooks could at least work together to get it repealed.

That is a very good point. I like it getting dark earlier and driving to work in light. Do any of us even know which is the proper time setting if we stop changing the clock?

The smoke alarms I bought recently have a 10 yr battery then you throw it away. As far as the time change, move to AZ just as I'm doing leaving the Golden State for good!

Don't need it but how will people remember to change the smoke alarm battery? Even tho the battery lasts a lot longer than 6 months.

I say let it go away. The kids at bus stops in the morning darkness, that is not cool at all.

Was trying to explain to a old Indian how we change the clocks back so we have more light in the summer to fish and he told me " Only a white man would cut off a piece of blanket and sew it on the bottom and think he has a longer blanket ". Those old guys were smart.
