A friend invited me to go Walleye fishing last night. Unfortunately his depth finder said 30’ when we hit the bottom. Turned off depth finder and rebooted just fine. Had to call it a night early, as the prop was damaged just enough to cause cavitation.
I did catch 2-3# Walleye the previous night on crawlers.

I knew it was supposed to be shallow on that side of the river, but I'd never got close enough to know for sure. Brian may be able to have the prop repaired, it didn't look to bad.

Sorry to hear that Russ, but glad no one was injured anyway. Sometimes the sudden stop can knock you on your azz. At least you know they're biting.

Dakoda even with a functional finder it isn't hard to have 30' in the back n run up on a rock or gravel bar. Forward facing sonar may save some damage 👍
