I will be meeting up with a bunch of friends at Lake Fork on the 22nd. I fished Fork when it opened in fact I fish just about every Lake in TX then bought a Harley and took a sabbatical to ride and not fish. Now I'm fishing again got me a nice 95 SS 140 Skeeter and loving it. So I went to Fork. 6 foot down, fished Wolf and Bobcat and never got bite going again on Monday and any suggestions would be appreciated

I would concentrate on big stumps in 2’ to 6’ with Texas rig creature baits. Or go a little deeper in 12’ to 16’ and run some crank baits. Good hot spot for the creature baits is just out from the Lake fork marina in the stump field to the left. I also recommend picking up a boat lane SD card if your running electronics. I personally won’t run Fork without it.

Thanks Gary we will be staying at LFM but have to launch behind Crappie Haven I ran the bouys on the east side but not on west not sure I can get a card for my Lawrance Hook 7s but I'll look

It has been several years since I fished Fork in the fall, it was not 6 feet down. We had good luck running spinner baits and buzz baits along weed lines if there are still any weeds. Along main lake points we used Carolina rigs with 4 inch french fry worms and really caught them. We also had some success on schoolers in the mouths of main feeder creeks. Best one being Bell on the Caney side.
