Lori, any spillway that is pushing water will have the fish. Multi species too. A bit different than still water fishing from bank. Most fishers at the spillway will be glad to share advice on HOW to fish. Visit one or two and ask around. Tite lines

In Fort Worth I would say my favorite bank fishing spot would be below inspiration pointe in Sampson Park. Where the Lake Worth dam flows. It’s between the lookout point and the navy base (Carswell) off roberts cut off rd.
But that’s in Fort Worth
I live just south of there in Granbury. Where bank fishing can be good cheap and easy. I fish at least 5 days a week and have many spots. Also, my number one go to fishing hole from the bank would be the Paluxy River. And it is absolutely beautiful and serine. Fish aren’t picky on lures and will bite anything with a spinner on it. ($1.00 Walmart spinners and beetle spins)

Joe pool lake at Lynn creek Park is good, take some minnows and worms, lots of big bass in that lake.
