Welcome to the Forum, John. I wish I could answer your question, that would mean that I was catching them. Let us know when they are hitting.

Any news John?
I’m headed out to the North Fork this morning.
Nothing yet up towards Concrete. I am going again tomorrow (Friday)
I started early this morning at Milltown, south fork not far from salt water. Saw the only sign I’ve seen all day but threw the kitchen sink at em and north after 45 minutes. Moved to the north fork above Conway and water was high and silty. I didn’t fish it. Moved up to the trestle in Mt Vernon. Watched 3 guys walk away empty handed. I fished for an hour. No sign. Sitting in the Rockport bar and hearing no one’s catching. Thought I’d go to Cascade but it won’t open until 9-15. Nice day to drive the south Skagit Highway though. Going back to Montana in a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will have cooled down and better conditions.
Caught a silver this morning off of cape horn
Got 1 silver this morning near concrete
Thanks for the update John.
Bank or boat?
Have you fished since the restrictions went into place? If so, any recent activity or luck?
No, I am waiting for the river to open up by Concrete
Drop a note when it looks like access is open. I would be happy to bring my boat up if you want to do some fishing/guiding.
