If you can’t catch live shad what is your go to? I haven’t had much luck keeping “stink bait” on the hooks. Oh, this is for jug lines.

All I use is stink bait. You got to get tubes to mash into the bait. It stays on them. Get mine from Walmart . Hope this helps you out. Good luck.

Night crawlers threaded onto hook with Chickrn liver wrapped then silly string to keep it on hook when they bite it.

Night crawlers and chicken liver I use Atlas Mike's magic thread to help keep the chicken liver on the hook works great. I'll have to get some of them tubes to try. What is your all's recipe for making homemade stink bait?

I like live or fileted bluegill or fileted carp...stink bait and liver are my last choices.
Hot dogs did well when I was at Lake Lanier.
