What a difference a day makes….caught 10 nice sized fish …some weakies, black sea bass and a sea robin…

Sadly my flounder still eludes me….my white whale!

Caught one thru the eye….ouch. Not sure how that happens

I use 20 or 30 lb braid on most of my reels…and depending on the depth and current, usually a 3 or 4 oz sinker. Vertical jigging ill use a 5 maybe 6 oz.

They were hitting on nuclear chicken gulp! Before today it was green or nothing it seemd like….

I did actually catch a few this summer, but i keep reading the reports in “ The Fisherman” saying…” the flounder bite is hot and heavy “ here or there….” Anglers report doormats at this or that reef” …..seems im always a day or two behind the hot spots….
