One on the highway Upstate NY in a VW bug. It smashed the front in but luckily did not come through the windshield. It left the scene.

You were lucky Kandy, not much front end on the VW bug.

5 total. Had a herd come across at night hit three of them with a big Suburban. Grill and dent in fender. Hit one on Christmas Eve picking up my son for week of parenting time (visitation). That one wiped out bumper, grill and fender and radiator on ‘85 F150.

Got T-Boned by a doe the first day I drove my new Civic to work. Tough way to break in a new rig...

One of my 4 was like that. He started out racing me on the side of the road and turn to his left. SMACK

Didn't even turn on his blinker

Years ago I hit a fawn with my Silverado P/U. It knocked it into the oncoming land and a young driver drove over it. It was all ground up when I threw it into the barrow pit. It did $1000 in damage with no paint needed. Just a chrome bumper and some plastic.
I also hit a turkey north of Colville. Feathers flew all over and it cracked the plastic grill on my Winnebago. That turkey was playing dodge with me. It ran in front then changed its mind and ran back off the road and then at the last minute it came back out in front of me.

I bumped a deer with the truck, lucky this time no damage. that’s the forth one I’ve hit. How many of you guys have had an encounter with deer.

Always came close but not yet. Ever notice that the deer crossing sign show a buck and they are always crossing from right to left no matter what direction you are going.

That's funny OLDNDN. Thinking about it I have 2 right to left and 2 left to right hits.
